Skiing at one of the best resorts in Central Asia: transfer from Karakol, a lift pass, equipment rental and three hours with an instructor for any level.
Karakol ski resort offers 20 km of slopes among Tian Shan spruces, almost 1,000 metres of vertical drop and dry snow from December to March. On a clear day you can see Issyk-Kul from the slopes. We pick you up from your hotel in Karakol at 9:00. At the resort we fit you with skis or a snowboard, then you have three hours with an instructor: beginners start on the training slope, and those who already ski learn to ride red runs with confidence. After lunch at the café by the lift, you ski on your own until closing. There are up to four people per instructor, so everyone gets enough attention. We are back in town by 17:30.
